In 2012 The London School of English ran a successful film competition in celebration of its centenary. We are repeating this competition this year.
The theme this year will be ‘101’. The competition is open to anyone. Submitted films must be less than 10 minutes in length and must be relevant to the theme.
We’re urging entrants to be as creative as they can with the theme, although it may be useful to know that The London School of English is an adult training centre whose mission is to help international communication and to encourage mutual understanding between people of different countries, backgrounds and cultures.
The competition deadline is 23 September 2013, by which time we must have received a playable DVD and high quality Quicktime file of your film. They will then be watched by our judging panel of industry professionals and film programmers, who will select the 3 winning films. We hope to arrange a screening for them at the BFI Southbank in the autumn.
