Many people in their 20s can communicate quite well in general English learned at school or university, but this is not sufficient preparation for the totally different demands of using English in a professional working environment.

Our Young Business English and Legal English: Young Lawyers courses are designed especially for people early in their working careers or who are about to start their professional working life.

Both courses offer exceptional value for money, yet are serious, intensive courses for people who wish to make rapid progress.

Each course also prepares students well for the exam preparation courses that are suitable for their sector.  Young Business English course participants can choose from two Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) exams, and Young Business English course participants can choose to prepare for the TOLES exam or the Cambridge ILEC exam.

If you are still at a fairly early stage in your business career, then this is the course for you. You may have a few years’ working experience, or you may be coming to the end of your business studies and preparing yourself for the workplace. Some business experience is certainly useful, but not essential.  The course is also ideal for people preparing for an MBA.

The Cambridge BEC Vantage examination is a useful qualification for people who need to use English as a foreign language for the purposes of international business and who are already in business-orientated work or preparing to follow such a career.  This 3-week course is completely focused on achieving the best possible result.

The Cambridge BEC Higher examination is a useful qualification for people who need to use English as a foreign language for the purposes of international business and who are already in business-orientated work or preparing to follow such a career.  This 3-week course is completely focused on achieving the best possible result.

This two-week course will develop your ability to use English effectively in your career.  It focuses on clear communication for situations where you may be using technical language.  You will also practise language for meetings, problem solving, presentations and telephoning in a context relevant to your career.

This three-week course is for newly qualified lawyers and law students to give them the specialised language skills they will need for their careers.  The content is varied and includes input from practising lawyers, visits to law firms and to the courts when in session to ensure that participants experience the language in action.

This course is designed to prepare candidates for the TOLES (Test of Legal English Skills) examination.  It is available as an optional 4th week after the 3-week Young Lawyers course.  The course is accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales.

This 3-week course is designed to prepare candidates for the ILEC (International Legal English Certificate) examination, which is offered by Cambridge ESOL.  The course is recognised by several international law associations.

Great time. I've learned a lot. English you can use afterwards, not too theoretical, but really useful English.
