The Norwegian YWCA is a registered charity and is available to Norwegian women of all ages, Norwegian men under the age of 30 and women from all over world under the age of 30. The guests are mostly students. The location of the hostel is fantastic, right in the middle of one of the best streets in Kensington. The hostel’s daily rates include breakfast and dinner.

All bathrooms at the Norwegain YWCA have recently been refurbished.
The way they are arranged are as follows:
Two single rooms next to each other share a bathroom in their corridor
All triple and quadruple rooms have an ensuite shower /bathroom and toilet
If a person would like to have their own bathroom they will need to take a twin room and then they can have their own bathroom.

Wireless internet is available on the ground floor and in the basement for £1 per day or £5 per month.
There is a registration charge of £3 for one week and £12 for more than 2 weeks.
Up to 2 weeks stay you must pay the whole amount on arrival and give 3 days notice.
Long-term guests must pay a deposit of two weeks in advance

London Heathrow Airport - Take the Heathrow Express train to Paddington. At Paddington change onto the underground Circle Line or the District Line (travelling south) to Notting Hill Gate. The residence is a 18 minute walk from the underground station. Total travel time approx. 50 minutes. Or, you can take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and take a taxi from Paddington to the residence. Total travel time approx. 31 minutes. Cost of taxi approx. £8
London Gatwick Airport - Take the First Capital Connect to London Bridge. At London Bridge change onto the underground and take the Jubilee Line (travelling west) to Bond Street. At Bond Street change onto the Central Line to Holland Park. The residence is a 12 minute walk from the underground station. Total travel time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes. Or, you can take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station and take a taxi from Victoria to the residence. Total travel time approx. 45 minutes. Cost of taxi approx. £14
London City Airport - Take the Docklands Light Railway to Bank. At Bank change onto the underground and take the Central Line to Holland Park. The residence is a 12 minute walk from the underground station. Total travel time approx. 55 minutes. Or, you can take a taxi directly to your residence. Total travel time approx. 47 minutes. Cost of taxi approx. £47
London Luton Airport - Take the First Capital Connect to Kings Cross. At Kings Cross change onto the underground and take the Victoria Line (travelling south) to Oxford Circus. At Oxford Circus change onto the Central Line (travelling west) to Holland Park. The residence is a 12 minute walk from the underground station. Total travelling time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes. Or, you can take the Thameslink train to Kings Cross Station and take a taxi from Kings Cross to the residence. Total travel time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes. Cost of taxi approx. £25
London Stansted Airport - Take the National Express East Anglia to Liverpool Street. At Liverpool Street change onto the underground and take the Central Line (travelling west) to Holland Park. The residence is a 12 minute walk from the underground station. Total travelling time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes. Or, you can take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station and take a taxi from Liverpool Street to the residence. Total travel time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes. Cost of taxi approx. £25
