Get Insured!
We strongly advise you to arrange insurance before you leave home. The school's insurance covers small losses of property on our premises, but it does not cover loss of money, mobile phones or other valuable items elsewhere in London.
Health Insurance
Emergency treatment in hospital is free in the UK (see our section on Health Entitlement). However, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance that covers health risks as well as loss of property.
Another very important benefit is that this insurance will cover any loss of fees if you have to go home or cancel your course with us because you or a member of your family is ill. This cover applies from the date you book with us right through to the date you leave the UK.
International Student Studying in the UK Insurance
Before you arrive in the UK, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance for your own financial and personal security.
You can take out your own insurance or take out the International Student Policy offered by Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited which has been specially designed for overseas students studying in the UK.
The International Student Policy covers:
- emergency medical expenses
- repatriation
- cancellation or curtailment charges
- baggage
- personal money, passport and documents
- course fees
- personal liability
- legal expenses

NB It is advisable to take out your student insurance at the time of booking your trip as cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the policy issue date. This will, therefore, provide cover should you have to cancel your course for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.
