Having partnered with the British Film Institute (BFI) to promote our own film competitions in 2012 and 2013, The London School of English and The LondonSchool Trust are proud to sponsor this year’s BFI Best International Film Award.
In a recent publication by the EL Gazette, The London School of English was nominated as joint first in a list of the top 20 English language school executive centres in the UK.
As 2014 draws to a close, we continue to harmonise the branding, sales and marketing operations of The London School of English and Canterbury Language Training (CLT).
The Pie review magazine interviewed a number of our students; Hajimu, Rosangela, Mohamed, Matteo, Joompol, Goiorge, Maxim and invited them to share their experiences of culture shock in the UK.
For 2015 we will be launching an updated English for University course. To coincide with this, we have created a new video which gives you an insight into our English for University course and takes you through how we support our students as they prepare for their studies at a UK university.

We run four Cambridge exam preparation courses throughout the year and they are very popular options for our clients. Last week, one of our Voice Trainers, Dolly, demonstrated her voice training techniques for a London-based TV show. Our Chief Executive, Timothy Blake, then took part in a debate on the importance of accents live on their lunchtime news bulletin.
Business English UK’s annual Excellence in Business English Training (EBET) award for 2014 results wereannounced on Saturday 7th June and we are delightedthat one of our trainers, Jon Dyson is this year’s winner.
This summer, we’ll be using London as a classroom like never before, with class activities and visits planned throughout the summer months alongside a range of social activities in the city.
