LSIC in partnership with the British Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Sweden

The London School of International Communication was delighted to participate in the latest British Swedish Chamber of Commerce event hosted by Handelsbanken in Stockholm on 22 February.  Our Director, Cathy Wellings, gave an interactive talk on ‘Going beyond language: Understanding the British Mindset’ highlighting the intercultural and communication challenges of working in the UK.  Simon Silvester of Handelsbanken then gave a light-hearted comparison between British and Swedish working styles and ways of doing business.  And of course, animated conversation continued afterwards over a glass of wine!
