Residences
We have arrangements with a number of providers of residences in London within easy reach of the school. These offer good facilities for students who want a degree of independence while they are staying in London.
We will be happy to discuss your requirements with you, or to book accommodation in London on your behalf. We charge a non-refundable fee of £40 for arranging your accommodation in London.
Note, all prices listed are either per night or per week (although sometimes in the summer it is necessary to book for a minimum of one or two weeks) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary without notice and are subject to availability. Please note that if a third party accommodation provider increases their prices this cost will be passed on.
Featured Residences

IES Residence in South Kensington is primarily intended for postgraduate students so it has a young but reasonably mature atmosphere. Although the location is excellent; fashionable, safe, with good shopping and convenient transport links the facilities at the residence are basic. There are local supermarkets nearby and also plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. There are no discounts for long term bookings.

Vincent House is an Art Deco building situated in an attractive London square. It is popular for postgraduate students from the UK and overseas and professionals staying in London for extended periods. Features include a large garden, a pool table and bar, healthy meals and friendly staff who live-in.

Lee Abbey is a friendly and safe place to stay. The residence is well located in a quiet and exclusive part of Kensington and is close to transport amenitities. It provides single or shared study bedrooms, some of which are en-suite. This is a Christian residence but welcomes guests of all denominations.
Lillian Penson is a large university hall with 276 rooms, all of which are en suite. Some postgraduate students are still resident in the hall over the summer meaning there is a mix of British and overseas guests. There is a restaurant where breakfast and evening meals can be bought at reasonable prices and a common room, bar, quiet room and a TV room.
All-Year-Round Residences

The Norwegian YWCA is primarily for Norwegian women under the age of 30, but exceptions are made regarding age and husbands may join their wives. The guests are mostly students. The location of the hostel is fantastic, right in the middle of one of the best streets in Kensington. The hostel’s daily rates include breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner.

Park House is excellent value but only available for women between 18 and 30. Staff are on duty for 24hours a day and there is CCTV throughout the building. The rooms are fully furnished single study bedrooms which share a bathroom and kitchen with one other room. There is a shared lounge on every floor and wifi throughout the building.
Summer Residences

Bankside is situated close to the River Thames near the Tate Modern. Whilst it is not located very close to either of our schools it is very new and offers excellent facilities.

The hall is very centrally located for shopping and enjoying the nightlife in the west end. It has a large TV/common room and a lively basement bar.
Evelyn Gardens is a pleasant residential area set around private gardens in Chelsea. It's a short walk from South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations.

The hall is located in a very distingushed street that leads to Trafalgar Square. It has 140 single and 115 twin Rooms, all with en-suite facilities. London's cultural south bank is also only a short walk away.

Nutford House is a very distinctive building dating from 1915. It has 159 single rooms, and 21 shared rooms. All rooms have internet access, telephones, and wash basins. There is also a large central garden which is ideal for relaxing at the weekend.

Orient House is part of the Chelsea Harbour development on the River Thames. The nearest underground station is Fulham Broadway (District Line), which is about a 10-minute walk away.

Rooms in Prince’s Gardens are available in Southside Hall and Eastside Hall. In both halls all rooms are en suite and have wired broadband access. The residence is close to Hyde Park and the museums in South Kensington, and is only a very short tube or bus journey to central London.

The hall was fully refurbished in 2008 and offers modern and convenient facilities. It is just a five minute walk from the British Museum and close to all of central London's attractions.
