Our 50+ English and Culture Programme combines morning General English lessons with an afternoon cultural programme built around London's world-class museums, galleries, theatres, and neighbourhoods. You'll study alongside students of all ages and nationalities in the morning - the best way to practise real, everyday English - then spend your afternoons exploring the city with your fellow 50+ classmates and an expert guide. Choose one or two weeks of structured learning, genuine cultural immersion, and good company!

Course overview:
Each week includes 2.5 hours of General English tuition every morning, five guided afternoon or evening excursions, daily lunch Monday to Friday, and a Zone 1-2 travelcard for the duration of your course. You won't need to worry about navigating logistics — just turn up, learn, and enjoy.
Morning classes:
You'll join our General English group classes, placed at a level that matches your ability (minimum level 3 / B1+ required — beginners welcome, please enquire). Classes are mixed-age by design. You'll be learning and practising English alongside people from around the world, in the kind of real, varied environment you'll encounter outside the classroom. It's one of the most effective ways to build fluency and confidence.
Afternoon cultural programme:
Five afternoons (or evenings) per week are dedicated to guided cultural excursions across London. Expect visits to major museums and galleries, walking tours through historic and contemporary neighbourhoods, river trips, and entrance to key London attractions. The cultural programme is exclusive to 50+ students, so you'll be with people who share your interests and pace.
Dates and pricing:
- Courses run on fixed dates across spring, summer, and autumn:
- 11–22 May | 8–19 June | 14–24 September | 19–31 October
- £975 per week. Courses are two weeks but can be taken as one week only.
- Accommodation and airport transfers are available on request.
What's included:
Morning General English lessons (2.5 hours/day, Mon–Fri), lunch every weekday, five excursions per week, and a Zone 1-2 travelcard for the length of your course.
