We sponsor an international prize at the Future Film Festival

Earlier this year, the LondonSchool Trust sponsored an International prize at the Future Film Festival run at BFI Southbank by the British Film Institute, the UK’s leading official body promoting the study and development of film and television. To qualify for the prize, competitors had to be either based outside the UK, or international students studying or working temporarily in the UK.

The Festival was a big success with many hundreds of entries, the best of which were screened over a weekend. The LondonSchool Trust International prize was won by Nexus (https://vimeo.com/95697359), made by Ho Kwan Au and Briana Franceshini, from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Timothy Blake, Chief Executive of The London School of English and Founder of The LondonSchool Trust, was pleased to be present at BFI Southbank to present them with the prize.

Nexus is available to view here https://vimeo.com/95697359.

The LondonSchool Trust will continue to sponsor an International prize at the Future Film Festival in February 2016.
