Our Eramsus+ Funded Courses
Erasmus+ does not pay one amount. It pays four, and they go to different places.
Only one of the four reaches The London School of English. The rest goes to the person travelling and to the organisation sending them. That is important when you are writing a budget, because it changes what you are actually asking your finance team to approve.
The four amounts
Course fee. €80 per participant per day, for courses of between two and ten days. This is the only part that comes to The London School of English, and it covers part of the course price rather than all of it.
Daily living allowance. Paid to the participant to cover accommodation and food while they are here. Each national agency sets its own daily rate within a published range, so the figure depends on which country you are applying from rather than on where you are going.
Travel. A single lump sum based on how far the participant is travelling, measured in bands rather than exact distances. Travelling by train or coach pays a higher rate than flying. In the 100 to 499 kilometre band, which covers Paris, Brussels, Lille and Amsterdam, that is €285 rather than €211.
Organisational support. €100 per participant, paid to your organisation towards the cost of arranging everything.
Travelling sustainably is worth more than the extra money suggests. Environmental practice is one of the criteria an application is scored on, so choosing the train strengthens the case as well as the budget.

“Being able to meet people from all over the world with similar experience or age was very positive for integration and progress. All staff members were very welcoming and attentive.”
