Both London and Canterbury have a rich and varied history that have helped form the unique cities that we know today. There is so much to explore, from the wealth of many art galleries and museums to the magnificent architecture that make up both cities. We carefully plan the social programme to make sure that you experience as much of these charming cities as possible during your stay.
London is often called the culture capital of the world and has been shaped over the years by the great number of different cultures that call the city their home. The city has some of the world’s best theatres and museums. Many people are also surprised to learn that London is the greenest major city in Europe thanks to its large parks, gardens and woodland. Both of our centres are located in zone 2, west London, providing the ideal place to relax and focus on your English, while being close to all that London has to offer.
Canterbury offers a very different experience to London, with a quieter, historic atmosphere offering a truly British experience. The city is full of little cafés, restaurants and traditional English pubs and our Canterbury centre is only five minutes’ walk away from the famous Canterbury Cathedral. If you would like to explore the beautiful coast nearby, our administration team can help you organise an independent weekend trip to Whitstable, Dover or Herne Bay, for example.
