I love meeting people from all over the world and helping them with their English language journey.  The results from one-to-one teaching  in an intensive "home" environment are fantastic and really complement a classroom experience. 

I live with my husband and a yellow 5 year old labrador called Summer - she is very friendly and likes to meet new people. 

A student staying with me will enjoy a relaxed environment and being part of an extended family - my sister lives 6 doors from me, another sister on the other side of the city.  Nieces and nephews live close too and often we all get together and anyone staying with me is also very welcome.    

Having worked within the IT sector for a number of years, I have been teaching now for 14 years one-to-one and have a very good track record of helping students to improve their use of the English language.  

Staying in Bath

I live in a very quiet area of Bath, very close to a lot of the historical architecture of the city.  The walk into the city is through a lovely green space.  I have an allotment very close to the house with wonderful views over the city, where often I sit and reflect on life, students who stay also often do this.  The student room opens out onto a large terrace with lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
