Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)
Cambridge B2 First (FCE)
In 2017, Cambridge renamed their exams. The Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) is now called Cambridge B2 First.
The Cambridge B2 First (FCE) certificate is an internationally-recognised qualification that shows that you can use English at an upper-intermediate, B2 level. Our FCE preparation course will give you the skills and practice to enter the exam feeling fully prepared and confident.
Who’s it for?
The FCE certificate is globally recognised by universities, employers and other educational institutions. It is ideal if you need to prove that you can use English at an upper-intermediate (6.0) level for your work, for your CV (resume) or for a university application.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
achieve the best possible result in the FCE exam
complete the four papers in the exam with more confidence
speak and write more confidently and accurately
understand what you read and hear more easily
use a wider range of grammar and vocabulary
identify the areas you need to work on more
During the course you will focus on the key areas that are tested in the exam:
Use of English (vocabulary and grammar)
FCE practice papers
In preparation for the exam, you will also take a full mock FCE exam under exam conditions.
Optional self-study: Before or after your classes, you can use the Self-Study Area in your centre. There are computers, a printer and plenty of desk space available. The Self-Study Areas are available whenever our centres are open. See the opening times for our centres here.
