Individual English Training

Individual English training is offered in London, Canterbury or via Skype. Your dedicated trainer will deliver English lessons based on your individual goals. You will discuss these with your trainer who will create your tailor-made programme. Your schedule may include evenings and weekends if you arrange this in advance.

Who’s it for?

Individual English Training is designed for you if you feel that a group is not suitable, you have limited time available or you have a specific need which requires individual attention. A programme of individual tuition recognises that everyone is different, so the training content is entirely flexible to suit you.

Course Content

This course offers totally personalised and focused training which a group course may not be able to provide you. Participants choose this course for a wide variety of reasons, which can include:

  • Increasing confidence for an English-language conference, seminar or meeting

  • Priority focus on specific areas of weakness

  • A need to ensure total focus on personal needs

All our individual tuition programmes include a detailed needs analysis leading to a carefully tailored training programme to ensure that we maintain complete focus on specifically identified areas of need.

Optional self-study: Before or after your classes, you can use the Self-Study Area in your centre. There are computers, a printer and plenty of desk space available. The Self-Study Areas are available whenever our centres are open. See the opening times for our centres here.

  • London: daily three-course lunch (Monday to Friday)
    Canterbury: networking lunch three days a week and an all inclusive social programme two days a week

Level 1 (Beginner)

I do not speak any English.

I can speak and understand reasonably well and can use basic tenses but have problems with more complex grammar and vocabulary.

I speak and understand well but still make mistakes and fail to make myself understood occasionally.

Level 7 (Pre-Advanced)

I speak and understand well but still make mistakes and fail to make myself understood occasionally.

Level 8 (Advanced)

I speak and understand very well but sometimes have problems with unfamiliar situations and vocabulary.

Level 9 (Very Advanced)

I speak and understand English completely fluently.
